Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- Men and officers of the Korean People's Army, involved in a commemorative march to signify the V-Day shining with the immortal reputation and glory of the dignified DPRK, passed through streets of the capital city of Pyongyang on July 27 amid warm welcome of citizens.
Many citizens carrying the national flags and bouquets came out in streets to give warm welcome to the columns of marchers who fully demonstrated the mettle and will of the descendants of the heroic generation to glorify the proud tradition of victory forever and usher in a heyday of a powerful country under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
A motorcade left the plaza of the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and went through night streets in a festive mood, welcomed by citizens.
The citizens warmly waved their hands to the procession of vehicles carrying the participants in the ceremony of commemorative march of columns, symbolic of units in the Fatherland Liberation War, that demonstrated the fact that the spirit of defending the country and the revolution in the 1950s is being steadily carried forward along with the victorious history of socialist Korea.
The masses sent warm encouragement to the dependable servicepersons, who further emphasized the significance of the great war victory day with the grand commemorative march, and the servicepersons responded to the enthusiastically cheering crowds, full of pride and honor of being descendants of the heroic generation.
Welcome atmosphere was growing higher when columns, symbolic of the three services showing the brave spirit of the heroic KPA with invincible combat efficiency, entered the streets in the wake of the columns symbolic of KPA units in the war period.
The streets were filled with feelings of deep gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has trained the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK into the matchless strongest army and put the national power on the highest level with his undying devotion and efforts to glorify the proud tradition of victory century after century.
The pride and honor of the heroic people, who have won victories under the guidance of the great leader and the great Party, and the strong will of the descendants to creditably carry forward the indomitable soul and spirit of the victorious wartime generation were shown in streets through which the procession of columns passed. -0-
