Murderers must be punished by international community.

The international community has been vocal against Israel for being hell bent on killing civilians.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan in a statement on July 7 called on the international community to check Israel’s criminal atrocities in the Gaza Strip. The statement denounced Israel for continuing to make air raids on refugee camps in Gaza to kill civilians, describing such unethical war crime as a hideous challenge to the international community demanding a halt to hostile acts and the protection of civilians in the area.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Expatriates and Overseas Compatriots also issued a statement that day to decry Israel’s indiscriminate killings there. It accused Israel of mounting an air raid on a school in a refugee camp in the middle part of the Gaza Strip on July 6 to kill 16 Palestinians, asserting that Israel keeps violating international law.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan at a press conference on July 10 strongly censured Israel for its premeditated attacks on inhabitants of Gaza.

As already known, more than 38 900 Palestinian people have been killed since the Israeli forces launched the military operations in October last year. Most of the dead were reportedly women and children.

What cannot be overlooked is that the Israeli forces staged air raids on different sections including the place where refugees were concentrated, claiming that Hamas combatants were hiding in schools and hospitals, and that they even used weapons of mass destruction banned by international law like white phosphorus bombs. It is said that the bomb is a weapon designed to send off a lot of smoke and flames, and if its spark contacts the body, it burns into the bones and even though people manage to survive, they cannot avoid dysfunction of internal organs.

That’s why an international human rights organization and Amnesty International strongly condemned Israel’s dropping of white phosphorus bombs on the Gaza Strip and the non-military area in south Lebanon. Hamas asserted that the US which supplied such weapons should take legal and moral responsibility and that those who committed crimes against civilians should be indicted at the international court.

The United Nations, in a recently published annual report on children and disputes, designated Israel as a violator of human rights of children. The decision was made based on the investigation of six offences: killing or crippling of children, sexual assault, kidnapping, recruitment and use of children, prevention of their access to aid materials, and assault on schools and hospitals.

But Israel shamelessly claims that more than one third of the Palestinians who died in Gaza was “terrorists”.

Moreover, when the Israeli army was recently included in the international list of criminals who used violence against children, Israel described the decision as a “shameful” one, insisting that theirs is a war against Hamas, not civilians.

The Israeli murderers must be put in the dock of the international court as they behave impudently, though they unhesitatingly massacred children and killed tens of thousands of innocent people.
