A national children's paduk contest and a national paduk amateurs' contest took place at the Taekwon-Do Training Hall in North Hwanghae Province between the 18th and the 24th.
The contests brought together more than 210 children and over 60 amateurs selected from the provinces. They were divided into categories concerned according to ages, and men's and women's individual, double and mixed double games and men's and women's team games were played.
The city of Pyongyang came first in total in those contests respectively.
South Hamgyong Province and the city of Nampho finished second and third in the national children's paduk contest and North Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces second and third in the national paduk amateurs' contest.
Diplomas were awarded to the excellent teams and players.
