Nationwide assistance is given to the people in the flood-hit areas true to the decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on rapidly repairing the flood damage in North Phyongan and Jagang provinces by concentrating all efforts of the state.
Officials and working people of institutions and industrial establishments in Kangwon Province collected food grains, daily necessaries, medicines and other materials with sincerity and promptly sent them to the regions concerned. North Hamgyong Province prepared a large amount of food grains and condiments and tens of thousand pieces of daily necessaries in a short time.
