A national sci-tech presentation in the field of construction took place at the Sci-Tech Complex between July 30 and August 2 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea.
The presentation held under the theme of "Overall Prosperity of Korean-Style Socialism and Juche-Based Architecture" was attended by officials, teachers, researchers and designers of different units including the State Academy of Sciences, the Pyongyang City Designing Institute and the Pyongyang University of Architecture.
Submitted to the presentation were more than 160 papers completed by scientists and technicians in the field of construction.
Experiences in making designs which reflected the successes achieved in drawing up park and garden designs around the third-stage 10,000 flats under construction in the Hwasong area were presented and a video program on the trend of construction watched during the presentation.
