Secretaries and department directors of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea accompanying the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who visited the flooded areas in North Phyongan Province again went to the city of Sinuiju and Uiju County on August 9 to learn about the damage and preparations for its rehabilitation.
Jo Yong Won, Pak Jong Chon, Kim Jae Ryong, Ju Chang Il and Han Kwang Sang acquainted themselves on the spot with the damage in detail and the preparations for projects including the deployment of construction forces and the transportation of materials and discussed practical measures to minimize the damage of crops.
They said the officials of the local Party and government organs should play the role of masters, bearing deep in mind that the Party and the government attach the greatest importance to taking good care of the living of the flood victims and finishing the housing construction in quality as soon as possible and concentrate all efforts on it. And they took measures to solve the knotty problems.
