President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un receives congratulatory message from Russian President The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory messages from V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the 13th.
The message extended heartfelt congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the day of liberation, national holiday, and said the two countries pay respects to the soldiers of the Red Army and the Korean patriots who fought shoulder to shoulder for Korea's liberation.
What is important is that the bonds of friendship and mutual assistance fortified during the hard-fought war serve as a reliable foundation for developing good neighbourly relations between the two countries today, too, the message said and expressed the belief that the thorough implementation of the agreements made at the talks held in Pyongyang some time ago will continue to promote the expansion of equally beneficial cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
It wished Kim Jong Un good health and success and all citizens of the DPRK happiness and prosperity.
