A national fine art exhibition opened to celebrate the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Seen in the exhibition hall are more than 30 fine art works showing the immortal exploits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who pioneered the cause of building a powerful country of Juche, laid an eternal foundation for accomplishing the socialist cause and made a new turning point of the overall national rejuvenation.
Also on display are fine art works of diverse themes and genres reflecting the proud reality of the DPRK where the people's cherished desires and ideals come true under the wise leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the struggle of the Korean people who devote themselves to the prosperity and development of the DPRK with their conviction of the future to be more prosperous along with the glorious national flag.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held at the Korea National Art Museum on the 5th.
Present there were Choe Chang Hak, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Sung Jong Gyu, Minister of Culture, Ri Myong Chol, Secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials and creators in the field of fine arts and working people in Pyongyang.
The Minister of Culture made an opening address.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
