On September 8, Juche 110(2021), a grand reception was held in the garden of the office building of the WPK Central Committee for the labor innovators and merited persons who participated in the celebrations of the 73rd anniversary of the DPRK with the attendance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
On the day the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un met the agricultural officials and workers ahead of others.
Looking affectionately at those full of surging emotion, the respected General Secretary gave detailed instructions on tasks and methods arising in doing farming well.
At that time he stressed the importance of the scientific farming repeatedly.
We should put the agricultural production on a scientific, IT and intensive basis by kindling the fierce flame of scientific farming, he said and added as follows:
We can never make innovation in agricultural production with the past backward farming method and experience.
And he earnestly said that we should definitely do scientific farming in order to increase the agricultural production and what’s fundamental in doing so is to solve the seed problem.
Referring in a detailed way to the world development trend of solving seed problem and the actual situation of our agricultural sector, he also indicated that grain yield per hectare in our country gets high despite the unfavorable weather condition, and its secret lies in scientific farming.
His instruction taught them again the truth that the guarantee for rich harvest under unfavorable weather condition is the advanced agricultural science and technology.
After a while, the respected General Secretary stressed that the work to disseminate the advanced agricultural science and technology and the new farming method among the officials and workers in agricultural sector through the state computer network should be done well and regularly.
Receiving instructions of the respected General Secretary, they made firm pledge to do scientific farming true to his noble intention and reap bumper harvest every year.
