Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- It has been 76 years since the birth of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The DPRK has demonstrated its might as an invincible socialist state, achieving world-startling miracles and changes, and is now ushering in a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation under the leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un , a peerless patriot.

It is thanks to his outstanding ideology and leadership that the DPRK could advance and make a leap forward towards the far-reaching goal of comprehensive national rejuvenation in the face of manifold ordeals.

He clarified the eternal strategy of the Juche revolution and set it as the supreme programme of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK and as the general orientation and goal for building a socialist state to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. And he advanced the immortal guidelines and fighting strategies for the development of the Party and the state through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities.

The idea and line of building the self-reliant national defence enabled the DPRK to rank itself among the military powers and the strategy of self-reliance made the Republic steadily create valuable assets associated with its own strength, technology and wisdom even under the persistent pressure of the hostile forces.

The ideas and theories, including the programme for the rural revolution in the new era, the policy of prioritizing talents and education, the idea and line of attaching importance to cities and counties and strengthening them and the Regional Development 20×10 Policy, serve as the basic guidelines guaranteeing the bright future of socialism.

The DPRK has made eye-opening successes in socialist construction thanks to the patriotic devotion of the respected General Secretary who is wisely leading the struggle for national rejuvenation and development.

The DPRK emerged a powerful state with the strongest defence capability and matchless offensive capability. Its national economy as a whole is advancing with the definite orientation for development and magnificent streets and modern rural houses have been built in the capital city and local areas of the country in recent a few years.

Witnessing the eye-opening reality in which all fields of economy and culture are simultaneously developing and the capital and local areas are changing all together ever year, the Korean people came to be convinced that the ideology and leadership of the respected General Secretary are the vibrant strength of our state and the fundamental source of its prosperity. -0-
