Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from To Lam, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on September 9.
In the message the Vietnamese president extended warmest congratulations on behalf of the Vietnamese party, state and people to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the Korean party, state and people on the 76th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
We are pleased to witness successes achieved by the DPRK and its people over the past 76 years including victorious implementation of the goals for state development set forth at the Eighth Party Congress, the message said.
It expressed belief that the Korean people would register greater new successes in building a powerful state, accomplishing the cause of development and improving the people's standard of living under the leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK.
The Vietnamese president in the message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and greater successes in his noble work.
