The General Association of Koreans in China and its affiliated organizations held events to celebrate the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Floral baskets were placed before the bronze statue of the great leader Kim Il Sung at the Yuwen Middle School in Jilin and the portraits and pictures of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK missions in Beijing, Shenyang and Dandong of China on the 9th in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Beijing City Branch of the Zhongnan Regional Association, the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association and the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Regional Association under the General Association, and the family of Huang Baihe, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolution.
Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and other officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China and its regional associations and China-resident Koreans paid homage to the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
A film show of the General Association of Koreans in China took place in Shenyang of China.
Present there were Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and other officials of the headquarters of the General Association of Koreans in China and members of the Shenyang City Branch of its Liaoning Regional Association.
The participants appreciated a DPRK documentary dealing with some of the sacred history of revolutionary leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Meetings, photo and book exhibitions, film shows and various other celebrations took place at the Beijing City Branch of the Zhongnan Regional Association, the Yanbian Regional Association, the Jilin Regional Association and other affiliated organizations of the General Association of Koreans in China.
