Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Taekwon-Do universities across the DPRK direct efforts to the training of more talented personnel who will contribute to the development of the orthodox martial arts of the Korean nation.
South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do University has completed new teaching methods by using apparatuses for training and rational teaching means, thus improving the quality of practical education.
Pyongyang Municipal Taekwon-Do University has applied valuable research findings conducive to measuring and evaluating the psychology of the Taekwon-Do players and raising the scientific level of teaching.
Teachers of Kangwon Provincial Taekwon-Do University have conducted the education of majors in combination with adjacent subjects, thus enhancing the thinking and application ability of students and inventing and introducing training means and methods to ensure speed, strength and accuracy in carrying out Taekwon-Do technical movements.
Meanwhile, South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and North Hwanghae provincial Taekwon-Do universities have regularly organized demonstration teachings and meetings for joint reviews and made innovations in education, introducing excellent teaching experience and achievements. -0-
