Greetings to President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un from Chinese President The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, on the 6th.
The message sent warm congratulations to General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the Workers' Party and the government of Korea and the Korean people on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the DPRK, and said.
China and the DPRK established official diplomatic relations 75 years ago, writing a new historic chapter in the relations between the two countries. It is of epochal and great significance.
Over the past 75 years, the two countries have advanced hand in hand on the road of propelling the socialist construction while supporting each other and strengthening exchanges and collaboration in the struggle for consolidating the people's government and defending national sovereignty and closely cooperated in the work for promoting regional peace and stability and safeguarding international equity and justice.
The traditional China-DPRK friendship has overcome the transformation of the times and trials of the changing international situation and served as a valuable wealth common to the two countries and the two peoples.
I have attached great importance to the development of the relations between China and the DPRK and jointly led and promoted the in-depth development of the Sino-Korean relations while meeting you several times in recent years and maintaining regular communication through personal letters and messages.
The Chinese side, in the new era and the new situation, has a willingness to jointly promote the stable advance of the socialist cause of the two countries and provide the two peoples with greater well-being by strengthening strategic understanding and modulation and intensifying friendly exchanges and cooperation together with the Korean side on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries to continuously write a new chapter of the traditional China-DPRK friendship, the message noted.
It wished Kim Jong Un good health and smooth progress of all work, the DPRK prosperity and its people happiness and safety.
