The 109th candlelight rally and demonstration took place in Seoul of the Republic of Korea on the 5th in demand of impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol and special prosecution against Kim Kon Hui.
Many people from all walks of life who turned out in the struggle expressed indignation at the reckless military confrontation, fascist suppression and shameless irregularities of puppet Yoon Suk Yeol in the worst ruling crisis.
An appeal of candlelight action was read out at the rally under the title "Let Us Block the Attempt of 'Martial Law' with One Million Candles!".
The appeal said the last fight with Yoon Suk Yeol has started and called upon all people to turn out as one with the overwhelming candles for impeachment lest the Kim Kon Hui-Yoon Suk Yeol clique should dream about the "martial law".
The participants in the rally staged a demonstration, chanting slogans including "Let's Shatter Kon Hui's Realm!".
At a press conference held during the march, speakers maintained that the National Assembly should make a proposal for impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol to make him pay for his crimes without fail.
In the meantime, Seoul witnessed a rally of civic and public organizations on the 5th concerning the complete repeal of the bill on special prosecution against Kim Kon Hui and the bill on special prosecution for the death of a soldier of the Marine Corps of the ROK army at the National Assembly.
That day, members of the "Group of University Students on Sit-in for Urging the Impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol" held a press conference before the Ryongsan Police Station in Seoul, calling for impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol, special prosecution against Kim Kon Hui and release of the forcibly hauled students.
