The European regional seminar on the Juche idea on the theme “Sovereignty, Independence and New International Relations” was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on September 8, 2024 on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Present there were director-general, secretary-general and directors of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, chiefs of groups for the study of the Juche idea in Europe including UK, Germany, Denmark, Czech and Finland, the delegation of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, figures from public and academic circles in Bulgaria and the delegation of the Korean Association of Social Scientists.
And IIJI secretary-general and ESSJI deputy director-general and the Juche idea followers in Russia, Serbia, Italy and Poland were also present there through video.
At the seminar ESSJI director-general declared the meeting open.
Congratulatory speech, report and other speeches were made following the introduction of congratulatory messages to the seminar in the name of institutes of the Juche idea in each region.
Noting that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is a peerless great man who developed in depth the Juche idea into great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and leads the trend of global independence, speakers referred to the fact that the immortal Juche idea serves as the banner of the world progressive people who aspire towards the establishment of a new international relations on the principle of respect for sovereignty based on independence. They stressed the need to further develop in depth the study and dissemination of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism with the seminar as an occasion in order to hasten the realization of sovereignty of the countries and global independence.
A letter to the respected comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted with applause of participants.
