Researchers of the Economic Forest Institute increased the unit-area yield of giant hazelnuts and established a new cultivation technique for raising the economic efficiency of different species of wild fruit trees.
Those of the Forest Experimental and Analytical Laboratory applied nanotechnology to essential nutrient elements to lower the cost and use domestic raw materials in the production of nutrient solution. They researched an effective nano active liquid applying method capable of decreasing the amount of fertilizer in growing young needle-leaf and broad-leaf trees and shortening their production period.
The Forest Machine Institute invented and manufactured a new-type apparatus for picking fruit easily, reducing loss and saving a lot of manpower in the evodia forest and various kinds of nozzles needed for providing growth conditions favourable for sapling production.
The Thremmatology Institute, the Afforestation Institute and the Forest and Plant Engineering Research Institute also make an active contribution to guaranteeing the creation of economic forests in a scientific and technological way with valuable research findings.
