Independence and self-existence is the road that is easy to choose but difficult to keep. Independence and self-existence should be kept to the end. Only then, is it possible to defend one’s dignity and add brilliance to his honour.
While guiding the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the dignity and greatness of the WPK and the DPRK state and people was thoroughly strengthened by self-reliance and that nothing could take place of independence and self-existence.
The DPRK not only held up even the heinous sanctions that others could have given up and been disrupted but occupied a dignified position of being a nuclear power in the Orient, a worldwide military power, thus developing rapidly by dint of unprecedentedly tremendous strength while fundamentally changing the dynamic composition of the international politics and the geo-political position of the Korean peninsula. This is ascribed to the WPK that laid a base of its founding with independence and self-existence and have paved a way of prosperity by dint of self-sufficiency and self-reliance.
