Communist Mother Honour Prize was awarded to the women who have invariably made devoted efforts for their families and rising generations and for the prosperity of the country, making a contribution to succeeding to the generation of revolution and firmly carrying forward the baton of succession.
An awarding ceremony was held at the Hall of Women on the 14th. Present there were Ri Il Hwan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, Department Director of the Party Central Committee, Jon Hyang Sun, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials of the union and exemplary women's union members.
Ri Il Hwan made an awarding address.
He said the Communist Mother Honour Prize is a high commendation given by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the mothers who have done their duty for the families and society and thus set an example to be followed by the women in our era.
Diplomas of the Communist Mother Honour Prize, certificates of gifts and gold rings were awarded to 21 mothers at the ceremony.
Then, there were speeches.
At the end of the ceremony, a performance was given by the Art Squad of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea in congratulation of the prize winners.
