Young vanguard from across the country started a study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu.
They held a meeting at the education yard before the bronze statue of the great leader Kim Jong Il in the city of Samjiyon of Ryanggang Province on December 2.
Present there were Ri Song Il, Secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, youth league officials and marchers.
The participants first laid a floral basket and bouquets before the bronze statue of Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to him.
Pak Myong Jin, Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a report, which was followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers said the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who had left immortal traces in the Paektu area five years before, called young people to the sacred revolutionary battle sites and expressed their resolve to remain loyal to the leadership of the Party Central Committee with a single heart and firmly carry forward the precious soul and spirit of the forerunners to carry on the Juche cause.
After the meeting, the marchers visited the Samjiyon Grand Monument and made a study tour of the Konchang Bivouac and others.
