Officials in the field of revolutionary relics preservation from across the country toured the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt. Paektu between November 28 and December 4.
They went round the Chongbong Bivouac with the bronze statue of the great leader Kim Il Sung, the Konchang Bivouac and so on before arriving at the old home of the great leader Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp, a historic sacred place of the revolution.
In the yard of the old home they solemnly looked back upon the sacred revolutionary life and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il.
Reading the slogans written on barked trees which have been preserved in the forest, they understood once again the lofty mentality of the fighters who devoted their youth and lives to the liberation of the country.
They headed for Mt. Paektu.
The loud cheers of hurrah raised on the crest of the Paektu echoed far and wide to the mountain ranges.
The marchers called at the Samjiyon Revolutionary Museum. Looking round different rooms of the museum, they recalled the undying achievements made by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, looking up to their photographs.
They made a study tour of the Mupho Bivouac, the Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Site and the like.
During their march, they held a meeting for presenting their impressions on reminiscences of the anti-Japanese guerrillas, a campfire meeting, a choral contest of revolutionary songs and a poem recitation.
They held an oath-taking meeting at the yard before the bronze statue of Kim Jong Il in the city of Samjiyon on the 4th.
At the meeting they expressed their resolve to discharge their mission and duty as personifiers of the revolutionary traditions and powerful propagandists and educators in launching an intensive drive of education in revolutionary traditions throughout the country true to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un.
During the tour, they visited the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory, the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory and the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace.
