The 34th Plenary Meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on the 5th.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Chairmen Kang Yun Sok and Kim Ho Chol, Secretary General Ko Kil Son and other members of the Standing Committee of the SPA.
Present there as observers were officials concerned of the Standing Committee of the SPA, the Secretariat of the Cabinet, ministries and national agencies.
Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK, presided over the meeting.
The plenary meeting presented as agenda items the issue on calling a session of the SPA of the DPRK, the issue on examining and adopting the Law on Identification Code Management and the Law on the Prevention of Noise Pollution and the issue on the recall and election of judges and people's assessors of the Central Court.
It first adopted a decision of the Standing Committee of the SPA on calling the 12th Session of the 14th SPA of the DPRK with unanimous approval.
Next, there was a report on the main contents of the draft laws concerned examined at the Legislation Committee of the SPA.
The plenary meeting adopted with unanimous approval the decree of the Standing Committee of the SPA "On Adopting the DPRK Law on Identification Code Management" and "On Adopting the DPRK Law on the Prevention of Noise Pollution" on the basis of studying and discussing the bills presented.
It recalled and elected judges and people's assessors of the Central Court of the DPRK.
