50th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's field guidance to Academy of Agricultural Science marked

With a deep insight into the significance of the agricultural science research in the building of a prospering independent sovereign state, Kim Il Sung established the Academy of Agricultural Science under the difficult situation after liberation, provided the most superior and scientific Juche farming method and visited the academy on January 8, 1975.
The great leader Kim Jong Il advanced the Juche-oriented policies on the agricultural revolution including those on improving seeds and on making a radical turn in potato farming to brightly indicate the road ahead of agricultural science.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a historic letter to the agricultural scientists on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Academy of Agricultural Science, set forth the programme for the rural revolution in the new era and put forward the agricultural front as an outpost for defending socialism. He had many agricultural science research bases built on a world level, equipped them with modern experimental apparatuses and facilities and energetically guided the work of the agricultural science sector, the reporter stressed.
