Scientific plans and operations intensified for improvement of people's living standards

Officials in the fields of light industry, fisheries, commerce, land and environment protection and urban management are working hard to promote the people's well-being and provide them with more affluent and civilized living conditions and environment.
The light industrial sector has set it as the primary task to improve the quality of products and discusses the measures for completing the five-year plan, developing new products, expanding capacities and building new production bases.
The fisheries sector is seeking practical ways to increase the production of seafood by consolidating the material and technical foundations and directing efforts to fish farming and aquaculture.
The commercial sector is focusing on taking measures to preserve the original features of socialist commerce and offer the conveniences to the people.
The field of land and environment protection is conducting the study and discussion for promoting the work to minimize flood damage and improving the country's forest ecological environment.
The urban management sector is working out plans to make a substantial contribution to the people's living by repairing public buildings in a qualitative way and pressing on with the landscaping in a scientific way.
