Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- The Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory in the DPRK achieves successes through a mass movement.
The factory set a workable long-term goal and stepwise goals for winning the Three-Revolution Red Flag and is methodologically conducting organizational and political work to encourage Party members and other working people to turn out in implementing the decisions of the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The factory has put its efforts into technical study through the sci-tech learning space to raise the technical skill levels of its employees. In this way, it has boosted the production of medical appliances and equipment both in quality and quantity.
It developed tens of kinds of new products on the principle of cost reduction and quality improvement and produced thousands of such medical equipment and appliances as dental unit, otolaryngology unit and medical beds and supplied them to preventive and curative medical institutions at all levels.
The communist trait of helping and leading each other forward has been fully displayed and mass sports activities and mass-based cultural and artistic activities have been brisk. As a result, the revolutionary optimism and mettle prevail among the collective.
The factory, which has fulfilled its national economic plan every year under the uplifted banner of the three revolutions, won "Lathe No.26" Model Machine Prize and the titles of model technical innovation unit and model sci-tech learning space unit.
A ceremony for awarding the Three-Revolution Red Flag to the factory took place on Jan. 12.
Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and officials and employees of the factory. At the ceremony, a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly was read out and the citation and flag were conferred. -0-
