More than 60 youths in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK have volunteered to work at major theaters of socialist construction.
Young people in the city of Kusong and the counties of Kujang, Unsan and Ryongchon vowed to advance into the raw material stations, mindful of the noble intention of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un providing regional-industry factories as the precious entities of the Workers’ Party of Korea’s people-first politics.
Members of the youth league in the city of Sinuiju and the counties of Yomju, Sonchon, Cholsan, and Chonma decided to work at farms, determined to increase the grain production with their creation and efforts at socialist fields.
With the desire to play a vanguard role in implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era, those in the counties of Phihyon, Tongrim, Taegwan and Pakchon petitioned to work at county construction brigades.
A meeting was held at the North Phyongan Provincial Art Theater on Tuesday to congratulate those volunteers. Present there were Kim Chol Sam, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and young people.
Volunteer’s certificates were awarded and a congratulatory address and speeches made.
Officials and young people presented bouquets and gave encouragement to the volunteers leaving for their new worksites to implement the Party’s decisions.
