Last year many units obtained certificates of the February 2 Products, quality certifications and the December 15 Quality Medal amid the intense competition for quality improvement and development of new products being staged in different economic sectors and units.
Goods produced by more than 50 units in the sectors of light industry and public health were put on the list of the February 2 Products, production lines and products of hundreds of units were certified for quality, and products from various units were awarded the December 15 Quality Medal.
Among the February 2 Products are a dozen kinds of foodstuffs of the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory and the gloss paint of the Pyongyang Jonghyang Building-materials Factory.
The Jongsong General Pharmaceutical Factory, the Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Supplies Factory and other establishments won GMP certifications with their production lines of injections, capsules and dental care supplies.
The Kaesong Koryo Insam Processing Factory and the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory put their production lines of tablets, liquid medicines and capsules on a GMP basis.
In addition, the products from the Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326, Kanggye Winery and other units were evaluated as the best domestic products and awarded the December 15 Quality Medals and certificates.
