Dozens of young men and women in Jagang Province have volunteered to work at difficult and labour-consuming sectors of socialist construction.
Discharged soldiers in the city of Kanggye and Kophung and Sijung counties decided to work at the revolutionary posts to which the Workers' Party of Korea calls.
Young people in the city of Manpho, Jonchon County and other areas volunteered for raw materials base stations.
A large number of youth league members in the city of Huichon, Rangnim, Jasong and Songgan counties and other areas of the province applied for jobs at city and county construction brigades and stockbreeding bases.
A meeting took place at the Jagang Provincial Art Theatre on January 20 to congratulate the volunteers.
Present there were Jon Yong Jae, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the WPK, youth league officials and youth and students. Certificates were conferred on those volunteers and a congratulatory address and speeches made.
At the end of the meeting, a congratulatory performance was given by the members of the provincial youth mobile explanation team. Then the volunteers left for new posts amid the warm send-off by officials, youth and students.
