Teachers' in-service training centres in the city of Pyongyang are giving short courses to improve qualifications of educators.
The Central District Teachers' In-Service Training Centre selects subjects and allots duties in detail and demands the instructors prepare for teaching well so that all the teaching contents can contribute to improving qualifications of teachers in active service.
The Phyongchon and Sosong district teachers' in-service training centres induce the teachers to be well versed in the contents of teaching materials and teaching purpose of the new school year since the short course is given according to kinds of schools. At the same time, they organize the work well to exchange and disseminate excellent experiences and successes including new teaching methods invented by different educational units.
The Pothonggang District Teachers' In-Service Training Centre encourages the teachers to make effective use of modern educational means and organizes inspection of class at work, joint review of class and seminar on teaching methods to widen their vision.
