The expedition of the 1,000-ri journey for national liberation by schoolchildren from across the country passed through Hyangsan.
It left Mangyongdae, the birthplace of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, on the 22nd and hastened its march along the road covered by him.
Officials, working people and schoolchildren warmly welcomed and inspired the marchers in the city of Kaechon and Kujang County.
The marchers visited the Soson Hotel and the Tokgol Revolutionary Site.
At recess they studied Kim Il Sung's reminiscences "With the Century" and conducted colourful political and cultural activities. They also called on war veterans and honoured disabled soldiers in the regions concerned.
They reached the town of Hyangsan on the 24th.
They were warmly welcomed by officials, working people and schoolchildren in Hyangsan County.
They laid a floral basket and bouquets before the bronze statue of Kim Il Sung at the town of Hyangsan and paid homage to him.
They left the town of Hyangsan on the 25th and continued their march.
