Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a message of congratulations to To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on February 3.
The message said:
I extend congratulations to you and, through you, to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and all its members on the 95th founding anniversary of the CPV.
With the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people were able to have their own reliable political staff and win victory in the struggle to achieve national independence and establish a socialist system.
I am pleased that the Vietnamese people are achieving remarkable successes in the struggle to build a rich and prosperous state under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Expressing the belief that the traditional friendly relations between our two parties would grow stronger in the common struggle to defend the socialist cause, I wish you success in your responsible work.
