A performance was given by members of art groups of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on the 14th in celebration of the 83rd birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.
It was appreciated by Kim Jong Sun, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league, officials concerned, students of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in the city of Pyongyang.
Put on the stage were colourful items including the duet and oungum ensemble of the immortal masterpiece "Song of Best Wishes", narrative poem "Song of Boundless Happiness under the Leadership of the Marshal" and trio and chorus "We Are the Happiest in the World".
