The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia gave a reception on the 14th on the occasion of the 83rd birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il.
Invited to the reception were Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Alexandr Kozlov, Vice-Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, Vice-Minister of Defence Alexandr Fomin and other personages of the government, the Federal Assembly, organizations and institutions of Russia including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior, the Federation Council and the State Duma.
Present there were Sin Hong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Russia, and staff members of his embassy.
The participants first laid a floral basket and bouquets before a painting of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid respects to them.
Then, they looked round photographs showing noble lives and exploits of the great leaders and the immortal exploits performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations, their famous works and photos showing the inexhaustible might and proud development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
