Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun on Day of Shining Star

Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- All the people across the DPRK significantly greeting the greatest auspicious February holiday of the nation with the pride and honor of ushering in a gigantic era of prosperity in which the whole country changes under the guidance of the great Workers' Party of Korea pay the highest tribute to Chairman Kim Jong Il, the sacred image of socialist Korea and great sage of the revolution. Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on February 16, the Day of the Shining Star. Accompanying him were Pak Jong Chon and Ri Hi Yong, secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK, No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Kim Jae Ryong, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK. The Kumsusan Palace of the Sun was wrapped in a solemn atmosphere where the eternal leaders of the Party, state and people of the DPRK lie in state. A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il. Kim Jong Un, together with leading cadres accompanying him, paid high tribute to the statues of the President and the Chairman. At the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state, Kim Jong Un paid homage of immortality and best wishes to him in the humblest reverence. He expressed his solemn will to devote himself to the sacred struggle for the eternal prosperity of the country, the security of the people and the promotion of their well-being, remaining faithful to the revolutionary ideas and cause of the President and the Chairman.
