President Kim Il Sung left for field guidance at a farm where new farm machines were on display on a snowy day of February 1974.
Officials expressed their intention that the President would take a rest and look round farm machines after the snow stopped.
Saying with a bright smile on his face that you never mind, even if snow falls, he watched the new farm machines attentively.
His hat and overcoat were covered with snow as time advanced.
After watching all the farm machines, he headed for a room to hold a consultative meeting with officials.
Some of the officials were still standing in the yard as the room was very small.
Saying that the room was warm but small, the President quietly suggested them going out.
An official told the President that it was cold outside, so it would be good to hold the consultative meeting in the room. But the President went out, saying that if he sits in the room, seeing the officials are exposed to snow outside, he would feel uncomfortable and that if they are exposed to snow, he should be exposed to snow together with them.
He gave precious instructions on the work of the agricultural sector for a long time, being exposed to snow.
The unforgettable consultative meeting made people keenly feel the noble popular traits of the President who regarded it as his lifelong motto to believe in the people as in Heaven. -0-
