One day in June 2013, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Changsong Restaurant in Changsong County, North Phyongan Province.
When he reached a dining room on the first floor, he said that the dining rooms were empty now, and that it would have been better if he had came to the rooms when the people were having a meal.
At that time, a senior official of the county Party committee told Kim Jong Un that the restaurant arranged birthday and wedding spreads for the inhabitants of the county and showed him their photos.
Seeing the photos of a war veteran couple and triplets receiving their birthday spreads and wedding photos of a teacher couple who volunteered to work in Changsong County, he said with a broad smile on his face that there are many good photos.
When the chief of the restaurant proposed that he would read a piece of good writings left by the people who were served at Changsong Restaurant, Kim Jong Un readily accepted to his proposal.
When he read impressions of an old man, Kim Jong Un rose from the seat and clapped his hands.
After a while, he said that the fairest assessment of officials' work is the voices of the people and that if the people say that they are good, there needs no other appraisal. Saying that the officials should do anything favored by the people, he added that the people's demands and interests are the standard of all work.
The applause at Changsong Restaurant was an echo conveying to the world the noble view on the people of the respected General Secretary who valued the people most and spared nothing for their happiness, and an earnest request to do more work for them. -0-
