83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il celebrated at DPRK missions abroad
Receptions, friendly gatherings, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and other events were held at the missions of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk of Russia, Shenyang and Dandong of China, Viet Nam, Laos, Mongolia, Singapore, Iran, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Kuwait, Thailand, Pakistan, Germany, Romania, Belarus, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Mexico and Venezuela, the DPRK permanent missions at the UN Secretariat and International Organizations in Geneva and the DPRK permanent mission at the United Nations between the 10th and the 16th on the occasion of the 83rd birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il.
Invited to the events were personages of the parliaments, governments, political parties, organizations and institutions of those countries and foreign diplomatic representatives in different countries. Present there were officials of the DPRK missions abroad.
Projected at the film shows were documentaries dealing with the undying achievements of Kim Jong Il who rendered great services to accomplishing the cause of global independence and video programs showing the proud reality of the DPRK which is making a great development under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Addressing the events, speakers praised the great Kim Jong Il as a reputed political activist, outstanding state leader, unrivalled statesman and peerless patriot who devoted all his soul and passion to prosperity and development of socialist Korea and happiness of all generations and to the building of a powerful state and did his best for the cause of global peace.
They praised the Korean people for making proud achievements in their efforts for bringing about the overall prosperity of the state under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and wished them a greater progress in their future struggle.
