Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- At a time when the outlook on the revolution, transparent patriotic spirit and matchless fighting efficiency peculiar to the heroic Korean People's Army (KPA) are being demonstrated as the unprecedented legendary feats in the sacred course of building a rich country with strong army led by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the great leadership adding a great viability to the brave stride of the KPA has been recorded in the cradle of its political and ideological mightiness and the strategic fortress for building a powerful army.

Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited Kim Il Sung University of Politics, the supreme military and political school of the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces, on February 24.

All the teaching staff and students of the university and soldiers of sub-units under it were filled with boundless emotion and joy before the glorious moment of meeting the great teacher and the great brilliant commander, whom they wanted to see so much at the campus in the historic year marking the 80th founding anniversary of university.

When the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived in the university, service personnel broke into stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" of the greatest respect, looking up to the peerlessly illustrious commander who is leading the brilliant history of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to the eternal victory and glory and dynamically ushering in a new era of building a powerful army on the ideology-first principle with his outstanding idea of building the army and energetic leadership.

Kim Il Sung University of Politics courteously greeted the head of the state.

After receiving a salute from the president of the university, he paid militant tribute to the glorious colors.

An educator and a student of the university presented him with fragrant bouquets in humble reverence.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers, he extended warm greetings to the teaching staff who are reliably guaranteeing the sacred cause of making the KPA ideologically elite with their steadfast revolutionary spirit and brilliant educational and scientific achievements at the prestigious military and political school and to the students who are firmly preparing themselves to be promising political workers in the future.

He was accompanied by Pak Jong Chon, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, and other members of the Central Military Commission of the WPK.

The teaching staff and students had a march-past, flying the colors associated with the great honor and feats of the university.

Kim Jong Un made an important speech to be specially recorded in the history of building the Juche-oriented powerful army.

The political and ideological traits of the KPA have remained consistently honorable and faithful to the generation of the army founding and the country and people along with the long days and changes of history, he said, adding that this would be unthinkable without the exploits of Kim Il Sung University of Politics which has steadfastly fulfilled its role in the key position guaranteeing the succession of the revolutionary armed group. He noted that the prestige of the university shines with pride in a new era of great change and renovation and its existence is characterized with remarkable meaning because it is defending the basis of a revolutionary powerful army which is imbued with the idea of the Party and remains absolutely loyal to its leadership.

Saying that the arms of the KPA stand in sharp contrast in the past and present in the history of building the Juche-oriented army, but only the idea with which they are charged has remained unchanged, and Kim Il Sung University of Politics has remained boundlessly faithful to its mission and duty in the course of the revolutionary struggle in which the mightiness of the ideology-first principle is fully verified, he recalled with deep emotion the glorious history of the university which has made a great contribution to training many communists and defending the succession of our revolutionary cause over 80 years since its founding.

Saying that the WPK always appreciates the political workers imbuing the service personnel with the noble spirit and bravery and their alma maters as well as the heroic feats of the KPA and highly raises as the character peculiar to the KPA the matchless loyalty and heroism of overcoming hardship and sacrifice cheerfully if the country calls, cherishing the glorious colors as its life, he noted that it is the most brilliant achievement of the university which cannot be compared with any academic prestige or educational and scientific successes. And he paid respects to the educators who have devoted themselves to accomplishing the Party's sacred cause of building a powerful army.

He stressed that the KPA, which defends the most just cause, the most just state and the most just people, should surely become the strongest army in the world, and the foremost mightiness and superiority of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to steadily adhere to and strengthen for this important historic mission and heavy responsibility are none other than the political, ideological, spiritual and moral advantages of the army of the Party and the people.

Referring to the fact that it has been an established theory to count soldiers and weapons as two elements of the armed forces in any century and any country and that it has not been broken from advocating the theory of centering on military technology in the building of armed forces and in the course of war up to now of the 21st century, he said that from the historical point of view and from the viewpoint of modern war, we can clearly see in practice the limitation of the theory of centering on military technology that ignored the ideological building of the army.

It is the stark immutable truth that the ideological and moral superiority of the army means the qualitative superiority of the army, he stressed. And he expressed a new view that soldiers, weapons and ideology are regarded as three elements of the armed forces, saying that imbuing the army with ideology before arming it with military technology is the core of army building.

Saying that the arms without ideology are little short of ironware, and it is a conclusion to be drawn by us once again that it is the basic way of building a powerful army to strengthen the political force of the army on a preferential basis and in a qualitative way, he clarified that proceeding from it, the building the KPA should be invariably and thoroughly oriented toward giving priority to making the army politically, ideologically and morally strong and toward steadily realizing the purity of combat ranks and then highly developing military technology equipment in all domains including nuclear armed forces.

Saying that today when the struggle for transformation, unprecedented in the history of the DPRK, is being staged amid the rapid changes of the world, the role of the KPA contributing to carrying out the state strategy plan and policies is in a more signally important position than ever before, he stressed that the KPA should have political workers who always conduct positive activities to redouble the power of ideology in the fields of military activities for implementing the Party's line and policies in order to successfully fulfill its more important mission and role. And he referred to the important mission and role of Kim Il Sung University of Politics as the supreme military and political school which should firmly guarantee the political force of the KPA.

Analyzing the reason why some deviations failing to meet the demands and expectations of the Party Central Committee are being revealed among political workers standing in the position of educators of service personnel, he clarified in detail all tasks to be carried out by the teaching staff and students of the university in the struggle to further perfect the political, ideological, mental and moral preparations of the army.

Saying that the supreme political school of the KPA should surely become the best university in view of its important position and duty directly related to the prospect of the Korean revolution, he expressed the firm will of the WPK to completely improve the educational conditions and environment of the university.

Saying that when the university, a main base for implementing the WPK's line of making the army politically and ideologically stronger and a pedigree farm for cultivating the heroic spirit of the KPA, remains more faithful to its duty, the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK will grow stronger and their invincible mightiness be steadily redoubled, he affirmed that the immortal dignity and glory of the heroic KPA will shine forever along with Kim Il Sung University of Politics which gives an eternal continuity to its sacred blood vessel and tradition of victory.

When Kim Jong Un finished his speech, all the participants broke into enthusiastic cheers with their great excitement of receiving his unique revolutionary doctrine of army building that indicated the path for further developing the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK into an ever-victorious vanguard, more elite in ideology and strongest in fighting efficiency, with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom, profound insight and outstanding enunciation.

Kim Jong Un went round several places of the university including the study room of the WPK building, the combined pedagogical information control room and the exhibition hall of educational achievements.

Highly appreciating that if the precious being indispensable for the destiny and future of the country and people is the KPA, the precious being indispensable for the KPA is just the university, educators and officials rendering loyal service to it, he stressed again that the KPA is resolute in politics and ideology and the strongest in fighting efficiency as the university trains the political workers of every generation in a single shape and produces competent political workers who constantly imbue the entire army with the red idea of the WPK.

He heard the speeches of students on the plan of the party political work and gave precious instructions for the university to train the students to be political workers who can master the Juche-oriented military idea and theory of the WPK and Korean-style tactics and conduct the party political work skillfully in conformity with different combat situations and to be skillful political activists who vigorously promote the work to make the entire army ideologically and mentally elite and perfect the war preparations.

He called upon all teachers of the university to verify before the Party and their disciples that they should become revolutionaries before becoming educators in practice and with ability and personality and to make a tangible contribution to innovating and developing the work for training party political workers with loyalty cherished as faith, pure patriotism, perfect ability of educator and scientific and theoretical prestige.

Kim Jong Un had a significant photo taken with the teaching staff and students in token of his visit to the university.

When he appeared at the venue of the photo session, all the participants extended their deep thanks to him, looking up to the dear father who visited the university to offer an immortal great programme for dynamically steering a new turning point in training political workers of the revolutionary army and bestowed the loving care and benevolence to be handed down through generations.

After meeting the students exemplary in study and military service and warmly encouraging them, he had a photo to be recorded forever in the history of army building together with all the teaching staff and students.

Saying that the teaching staff and students of the university are the most core revolutionaries whom the Party trusts best and pins a particularly great expectation to their role, he expressed expectation and belief that all the teaching staff and students would become genuine revolutionaries full of the soul and breath of the WPK before anyone else and thus become the cornerstones and pillars of the revolutionary army with their excellent role.

That day, Kim Jong Un enjoyed sports games between the teaching staff and students of Kim Il Sung University of Politics and Kang Kon Military Academy.

The games between the prestigious educational institutions of the KPA were held, divided into football and volleyball events.

The football match in heated offensive and defensive movements was over with 11 meter penalty kick after drawing 1:1.

In the football match, the team of the university of politics defeated the team of the military academy 5:3 in total points.

The team of the university of politics also beat its rival team 3:1 in the volleyball match.

All the participants renewed their firm will to uphold the idea and leadership of the great Party Central Committee with absolute loyalty and distinguished educational achievements, paying the highest tribute to Kim Jong Un who warmly encourages them to fulfill their sacred duty in further consolidating the strongest political and military mightiness of the heroic KPA, spending the precious whole day with his military educational soldiers.

His sacred leadership over the highest institute of army political education will shine long in the history as a historic visit which provided a powerful ideological and theoretical guideline for making the heroic Korean People's Army, the pride of our great Party, state and people and symbol of their strength, carry forward the brilliant honor of the politically, ideological and morally strong army, which has carried forward century after century, with its absolute prestige for a hundred and a thousand years and for further consolidating its mightiness and incomparableness overwhelming any enemy and challenge at a stroke. -0-
