Groundbreaking ceremonies of regional-industry factories in Sinyang and Koksan counties, a hospital in the city of Kusong and regional-industry factories and leisure complex in Jongphyong County for implementing the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" took place on the 24th.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, officials and working people in those provinces, cities and counties, service personnel of the People's Army and builders.
Speakers at the ceremonies said the groundbreaking ceremonies held in the wake of the inauguration of regional-industry factories across the country which excited the whole country from the outset of the new year give hope and optimism to the people in the cities and counties that they will enjoy an abundant and civilized life in their localities before long.
They stressed that thrilling reality of the unprecedented gigantic revolution made continuously to face-lift the regions is a miraculous change that can be brought about thanks to the transparent outlook on the revolution and people of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who knows no satisfaction in the work for the people.
They ardently called for glorifying this year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK as a year of vigorous advance and leap forward developing the precious successes of regional rejuvenation onto a higher stage.
Then, speeches were made by officials and commanding officers of the construction units.
