Looking at Doorplate of My New House

We moved into the new house in December last year.

When I looked at the doorplate of my house, I pinched myself to see if it was real.

They say that people would have nothing left after suffering flood.

But, our Party provided us with a new large house satisfying all necessary conditions free of charge.

That day I could not sleep all night long.

How can I express the gratitude to the Party?

Whenever I look at the doorplate of my new house, I think that the doorplate is the voucher telling the blessed life of our farmers.

I will work hard dedicating honest sweat out of patriotism to the farm fields to reap a bumper harvest and repay the loving care and benevolence of the Party so that our work-team can take the lead in farming.

We Will Repay Benevolent Party with Loyalty

Thanks to the motherly Party, new modern houses were built in our village which had been badly damaged by natural disasters.

Seeing the splendid single- and low-storied buildings built in the face-lifted village, words can’t express how wonderful they are.

So, our village is in festive mood every day.

Officials of the province and county frequently visit to inquire about our living conditions.

Among the visitors are residents in other village who come partly for congratulating the housewarming and partly for seeing the new houses.

In the evenings after whole day’s work, not only our family but other families make calls to the relatives and friends to boast it and invite them to their houses.

Now, we deeply feel the pride of living in such splendid houses.

When I volunteered to work at the farm, houses were scattered here and there, so it was inconvenient to go for seeing others.

But now, I have many neighbors in the cozy apartment; all the families in our apartment live as if they are one family helping each other and sharing joy together with others.

To repay the benevolent Party with loyalty, I will always take the lead in the sub-workteam as I made up my mind on the day of volunteering.

Blessings We Enjoy Generation after Generation

Last year, our family received a new house which was built thanks to the loving care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in the flood-hit area.

The house I received is really as splendid and civilized as houses in cities.

On the day of moving into the new house, I was lost in deep thought looking round the house with several living rooms, kitchen and bathroom.

It reminds me of my first housewarming scores of years ago.

Then, thanks to the Party, many modern dwelling houses were built in our village.

Moving into the cozy tile-roofed house made me so pleased that I, together with fellows, ran around for seeing other houses and sang songs of pleasure till late at night.

My father and mother worked with greater enthusiasm to repay the benevolent Party.

Now, I and fellows, who were merry at the new houses then, have become the masters of new splendid houses.

Our villagers enjoy the happiness of moving into new houses from generation to generation thanks to the loving care of the Party.

This is the happiness not only our villagers but also other people in different parts of the country enjoy thanks to the love of the Party.
