The 67th graduation ceremony of the Korea University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was held in its hall in Tokyo of Japan on the 9th.
Present at the ceremony were Pak Ku Ho, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organizational Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Song Kun Hak, Vice-Chairman and Director of the Educational Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Han Tong Song, Rector of the Korea University, and other officials, teaching staff, graduates, parents and students.
The national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was played.
A congratulatory message sent by the DPRK Ministry of Education was conveyed at the ceremony.
Pak Ku Ho made a congratulatory speech.
He said the graduates of the Korea University should keep deep in their hearts that the inexhaustible strength of the compatriots is precisely the might of Chongryon and a shortcut to ushering in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan, always learn among the compatriots and conduct brisk patriotic movement by relying on their wisdom and strength and thus do their duty.
Han Tong Song made a report, which was followed by a ceremony of awarding commendations to graduates.
A letter to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un was read out at the graduation ceremony.
An art performance was given by graduates.
