On February 3 2014, the respected Comrade Kim JongUn visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage and looked round differentplaces to learn in detail about upbringing and educational conditions and living environment of the children.
That day he said that all the children of the babyhomes and orphanages are also the sons and daughters of the Workers’ Party and that he could not sleep when he thought of orphans. It is the firm determination of the Party to put all the baby homes andorphanages across the country on the level of revolutionaryschools for educating the children of revolutionarymartyrs, he added.
As he regards orphans as his ownsons and daughters, who should live happily without any worries, he visited the places toacquaint himself with the actual situation, though he had so many problems to settle, and made a bold decision to build all the baby homes and orphanages into splendid facilities, though there were many important construction projects that should beundertaken.
He initiated the construction of the Pyongyang baby home and orphanage as the first model, personallyexamined their formation plans and took all necessary measures. And he repeatedly visited the roughand dusty construction sites to guide the projects to be carried out on the highest level to suit the psychology of children.
Indeed, the many baby homes, orphanages and primary and middle schools fororphans, which were newly built in Pyongyang andthe provinces, are the assetsand homes forchildren’s happy living provided by the respected Comrade KimJong Un.
