History tells of many great men and eminent people, but no one like President Kim Il Sung who was boundlessly revered by all the people for his great achievements and lofty virtue.

Greeting the 113 th birth anniversary of the great saint of mankind President Kim Il Sung , people around the world are highly praising with great reverence his immortal exploits in realizing the cause for global independence.

President Kim Il Sung made great achievements for the country’s development and prosperity, for the people’s happiness and for global independence. The greatest among them all is the founding of the immortal Juche idea, with which he led the Korean people and the other progressive peoples around the world along the bright road of independence.

Since embarking on the road of revolution, President Kim Il Sung stayed close to the popular masses. During this course, he found out the valuable truth that the master of the revolution are the masses who should be organized and mobilized in order to gain victory in the revolution; that the revolution should be done according to one’s own faith and not to any other’s approval or instruction; and that one should take responsibility for the revolution. Then in Kalun in June 1930, he announced to the whole world such principles of the Juche idea.

The founding of the Juche idea developed the struggle of the masses for independence to a new higher stage, thus unfolding a new era in human history – the Juche era.

With the Juche idea as the guiding principle, our people put an end to the history of national tragedy, eliminated the centuries-old backwardness and poverty, and built a socialist power – a powerful country of Juche – admired by the whole world.

Chairman Kim Jong Il formulated the Juche ideology, theory and methodology as Kimilsungism. Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un further developed it into Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism with his brilliant ideological and theoretical wisdom. Under the banner of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, our people are now vigorously opening up a new era of comprehensive national prosperity.

That is why not only our people but also all other progressive peoples aspiring after independence admire the validity and vitality of the Juche idea, and are making active efforts for the independent development of their countries.

President Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea – the acme of all the ideologies of humankind – and embodied it in the revolution and construction, thus exalting the position of the masses who had once been marginalized in history.
