China recently released a video titled “Never Kneel Down!”.
Released by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on its official WeChat account, the video began with revealing the tricky moves of the U.S. to coerce and divide other countries by imposition of tariffs.
It went on:
By creating a tariff storm throughout the world, the U.S. started a game of intentionally excluding China and granting each country a 90-day grace. Kowtowing to the oppressors is like taking poison to slake thirst, only leading to a more serious crisis.
Compromise and submission will only invite a new pressure and China never kneels down, it said. If the whole world stands in solidarity, the U.S. is nothing but a small boat stuck on a rock. When all countries straighten up, the world will surely break through the high barrier of supremacy.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said at the press briefing that this video could hopefully help all parties better understand China’s position.
A U.S. media commented that China intended to say in the video that the U.S. cannot be trusted.
