Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- The DPRK people are significantly celebrating the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung , the eternal image of socialist Korea, in the sacred journey of realizing the great historic cause of comprehensive national rejuvenation led by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea.
The imperishable exploits of the President, who founded the immortal guiding idea of the Juche revolution and consolidated the eternal foundation of the dignified DPRK strong with independent politics, self-supporting economy and self-reliant national defence, are displaying eternal vitality along with the great change in the new era, and the ardent yearning and reverence of the Korean people for the great sage of the revolution are growing stronger with the passage of time.
Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, other senior Party and government officials, officials of the Party Central Committee and leading officials of ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on April 15, the Day of the Sun, the greatest auspicious April holiday of the nation.
The Kumsusan Palace of the Sun was wrapped in a solemn atmosphere where the eternal leaders of our Party, state and people lie in state.
A flower basket in the august name of Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il .
Laid before the statues were flower baskets in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.
At the halls where the great leaders lie in state, the participants paid homage to them in humblest reverence.
All the participants renewed their firm will to devote themselves to the prosperity of our state and the people's well-being, holding with single mind the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is leading the great revolutionary cause of Juche to victory with single mind. -0-
