Koreans in Japan significantly celebrated the greatest holiday of the nation in April.
Officials of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) laid a floral basket before the portrait of the great leader Kim Il Sung at the Korean Hall in Tokyo of Japan on the 14th.
The entire participants in the meeting made a bow to Kim Il Sung, benevolent father of Chongryon and the Koreans in Japan, praying for his eternal life.
That day, officials of central organizations of Chongryon laid bouquets before the portrait of Kim Il Sung and paid homage to him.
A central meeting of Koreans in Japan was held at the Korean Hall on the 13th on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung.

He praised Kim Il Sung as a great man who glorified all the annals of the revolution and construction with proud victory and honour while enjoying absolute support and trust of the people for his outstanding idea and leadership and noble virtues.
He stressed that the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung were vigorously carried forward and developed by the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il and today, they are developing onto a new high stage thanks to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un with extraordinary leadership ability.
A congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
A central lecture was given at the Koren Hall on the 11th on the same occasion.
The video programme "Great Commoner" was screened at the lecture meeting.
