Youth and students held a meeting at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on April 24 to follow the examples of the heroes of the revolutionary film "Star of Korea".
Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.
The participants watched the revolutionary film "Star of Korea" (Part 6).
The film dealing with the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who successfully realized the centuries-old desire of the Korean people to have their genuine revolutionary armed forces by founding the first revolutionary armed forces of the Juche type deeply moved the participants.
At the meeting speakers said that the President organized and waged the armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists after clarifying the immutable truth that the destiny of the nation and the victory of the revolution depend on arms, adding that it is an exploit that will be immortal along with the long history of the Korean revolution which was pioneered and emerged victorious by force of arms.
They noted that thanks to this historic day when the anti-imperialist, death-defying resistance was declared under the uplifted banner of national liberation and self-reliant independence, a turn could be brought about in the struggle for carving out the destiny of the Korean people and the whole course of the sacred Korean revolution could be recorded with victory and glory.
They expressed their will to decorate their worthwhile youth with loyalty and feats on the road of carrying forward the glorious tradition of the Korean revolution which is great in its start and succession.
