A meeting, round-table forum and other colourful events were held on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung under the sponsorship of political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia.
Present at the events were many people including personages of political parties, the government, the Federal Assembly, organizations and institutions of Russia such as the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Defence and Security Committee of the Federation Council, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Far East State Science Library. Speakers praised the sacred revolutionary life and noble popular traits of Kim Il Sung run through with the idea and ideal of independence.
They said the DPRK is working the world-startling miracles in all fields of socialist construction as well as the strengthening of defence capabilities one after another under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, and expressed a resolve to make positive efforts to develop the DPRK-Russia friendly relations that have reached an unprecedentedly high level.
Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events.
On the other hand, an internet Korean stamp exhibition was held at the Stamprus Stamp Company of Russia on the same occasion.
