Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- The Maritime Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" and the Russian Veterans' Union held meetings and seminars on April 24 and 25 to mark the sixth anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un 's historic first visit to Russia.
Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of a Russian political party, organizations and institutions and other masses.
The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that Comrade Kim Jong Un 's historic first visit to the Russian Federation served as a turning point in further developing the Russia-DPRK friendship as required by the new century, hoping that the Russia-DPRK relations will further develop in conformity with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in future.
Figures of the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK referred to the fact that in April 2019, the Russian people warmly welcomed the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as the greatest state guest, regarding his visit as their great honor.
They expressed their determination to make positive efforts for the development of the bilateral relations and hoped that the DPRK people would register bigger successes in building a socialist power under the guidance of President of the State Affairs Kim Jong Un .
Meanwhile, Russian personages of various circles paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in Russia on April 25 and 26 on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the historic first visit to Russia by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un .
Figures of political parties, government and organizations including the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, State Duma, Moscow City Duma, "United Russia Youth Guards", Khabarovsk Territory Russia-DPRK Friendship Association laid flower baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tributes to them. -0-
