Events held in Russia to mark 6th anniversary of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic first Russian visit

Meetings and seminars were held at the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russian War Veterans Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" and the Veterans' Union of Russia on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic first visit to Russia.
Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of political parties, organizations and institutions and other people of Russia.
The speakers said Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic first visit to the Russian Federation served as a turning point in further developing friendship between Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in keeping with the demand of the new century. They noted that the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Russia and the DPRK signed in Pyongyang in June 2024 is the driving force which put the bilateral relations on a new strategic height and makes it possible to firmly defend the security environment of the region and the world in the common interests and build a powerful state.
They expressed their resolve to make active efforts for the development of bilateral relations.
In the meantime, Russian personages of broad stripes paid congratulatory visits to the missions of the DPRK in their country on the same occasion.
Personages of political parties, government and organizations including the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Moscow City Assembly, the All-Russia Social Organization "United Russia Young Guards" and the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory laid floral baskets and bouquets before the joint pictures of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.
